The main objective of this study is to verification of stresses developed in cantilever beam. The maximum stress is induced in the cantilever beam is at support and failure of beam takes place at support .Hence in this work evaluation of stresses in cantilever beam over a span is studied using finite element method and strain gauge technique. The stress and deflection analysis at different section is carried out. The result of finite element method is verified with experimental and analytical solution.
